PUMPKIN APPLE SPICE DOUGHNUT

1 bag Mamie’s Yeast Raised Doughnut Mix – open bag and add the following dry ingredients and set aside:

2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

2 teaspoons Ground Ginger

2 teaspoons Ground Cloves

2 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons cup brown sugar

42 g INSTANT yeast


10 oz. pumpkin puree

9 fl. oz. apple cider or apple juice or a combination of both!

4 oz. apple sauce

3 eggs

8 oz. Butter

Directions:

Combine the pumpkin puree, apple sauce and the cider/apple juice in a microwave safe container. Microwave for 2-3 minutes. Now, follow the directions on the bag of dry mix substituting the pumpkin/cider mixture for the plain water in the original recipe. Also substitute the butter in place of the shortening.
